Committed to STEM
We think that all young people should learn about science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).
Hands-on
We remember the wonder of making our own scientific discoveries, so we design our science events to be just
as exciting.
Jobs for the future
We know jobs of the future are changing, so we work with STEM employers to show young people the latest technology.
The big science names
We bring together experienced science professionals to deliver the best science events, demonstrations and expos.
All the STEM in one place
We bring science events to communities right across Australia.
We have all types of science, technology, engineering and maths activities.
Tell us what you want and we'll design a science experience to meet your needs.
Online events
Many of our members are now bringing online performances and activities directly to classrooms, OHSC and living rooms. Talk to them and find out more.
Classroom resources
Download our A3 STEM poster and add some science to your classroom walls.
Experience a Science Collective event
Our team has been bringing science events in many different forms to Australians for around 20 years.
Over time we've gotten to know the best science communicators across Australia.
They are experts in their fields, some of them have teaching backgrounds, they are experienced in working with kids and they love what they do. You can't get better than that!
Whether it is workshops, exhibits, performances or tours that you are after, you can be assured that it will be a great learning experience.
Interactive STEM activities
We love hands-on STEM and we think that kids do too. After all, what could be better than stroking an Australian marsupial, programming a robot, building a Dalek or taking part in a chemistry experiment?
Our events have these experiences and much more.
Take a sneak peak at some of our members and activities.
Testimonials
"The Science Collective is a great idea. I have worked with Brian in the science communication space for 15 years and nobody has done more to bring interactive, exciting and motivating science to thousands of students. With STEM now at the focus of education, the Science Collective will be a hugely important innovation and it could not be in better hands."
DR ROB MORRISON OAM / THE CURIOSITY SHOW
Brian was engaged as a consultant for our 2019 Brisbane Science Festival for support and advice regarding sponsorship, logistics and the running of the schools day. Brian was an integral part of the securing of sponsorships for the event as well as enabling us to network with a larger number of scientific organisations to support the event.
